Make sure that Acronis Managed Machine Service runs under account that belongs to Administrators group

A backup operation fails with this error message:

You have a 3rd party backup solution - StorageCraft ShadowProtect - installed on the machine along with Acronis software.

Symptoms

You create Linux-based Acronis Bootable media or download ISO image from Account or upload bootable components to Acronis PXE Server
When trying to boot the target machine from this media, you see the following message:
Video mode setup error: Error 0x1480006: The video framebuffer parameters are invalid

Introduction

In some cases you may want to change the timeout time for alerts produced by Acronis Agent or disable a certain type of alerts to better adapt to your business needs.

You can change the severity of an alert or disable an alert completely by using the alerts configuration file as described below. This operation requires restarting the Agent/Virtual Appliance.

Changing the severity of an alert does not affect already generated alerts.

Symptoms

You have a large vSphere environment, with several ESXi hosts and 1000+ virtual machines
You install Agent for VMware and connect it to vCenter.
You try to run a ESXi configuration backup for a host and the backup fails with one of the following errors:
too many SQL variables
OR
Command definition 'SELECT ... ' not found.

When a backup plan is applied to two or more virtual machines, activities for backup progress are not shown on virtual machines; instead they are shown on Agent that runs on hypervisor level.
Alternatively, warnings or activities are shown on incorrect virtual machine
