Acronis Backup: Backup of a Linux machine fails with "The SnapAPI kernel module is not loaded for the kernel currently running on the system"

Symptoms

  1. You make an entire machine backup or disks/volumes backup of a machine with Agent for Linux
  2. Backup fails with the following error:

    No volumes have been found while processing the 'All Volumes' template.

    or

    No volumes have been found while processing the 'Fixed Volumes' template
     

    or

    The SnapAPI kernel module is not loaded for the kernel currently running on the system. Install the module for this kernel version, and then retry the backup.


Acronis Backup Cloud: browsing SharePoint Online backups throws "There are no items to show in this view"

You have a backup of SharePoint Online and want to recover files from it.

When you select the recovery point and navigate to the folder within the archive, you see this message:

There are no items to show in this view

You create an Entire machine backup plan and select 'Version 12' backup format. In the exclusions, you specify one of the partitions, for example E:, to be excluded from the backup.

The specified partition is not excluded from the backup.

You have successfully backed up an SQL cluster to Cloud storage.

You browse the backup in the web console but no items are displayed (the attempt to browse the archive leads to a long "Loading" spinning wheel but even after 1 minute no items are displayed).

However, the contents of the backup are displayed with the expected promptness when listed via Acrocmd.
