Symptoms

Backup that includes OneDrive folder fails with an error similar to one of the following:

Failed to enumerate directory 'C:/Users/myusername/OneDrive/'. It may be corrupted or does not exist

Failed to back up file or folder. C:/Users/myusername/OneDrive/' It may be blocked by another application

Error occurred while opening the file

Acronis Disk Director

Acronis products save backup data in the proprietary TIB format using compression that reduces the amount of storage space needed for backups. Compression is used both in Windows and Linux operating systems and in Acronis Bootable Media.

Effective data compression level and resulting archive size depends on the type of files stored in the backup: even maximum compression cannot significantly reduce the backup size if the backup contains already compressed files, like .jpg, .pdf or .mp3. However, formats such as .doc or .xls will be compressed well.

Acronis VSS provider is used to initiate creation of VSS snapshot, but MS VSS service is actually used

The reason is that the backup was created with disabled VSS support

Start the Acronis Scheduler2 Service to fix the issue

Symptoms

An attempt to install or update Acronis True Image (any version) fails with the following error message:
Installation has failed
The older version of this product cannot be removed because it seems to be corrupted

By default, Acronis True Image is installed in the language of your operating system (as specified in the System Display Language) if this language is available in Acronis True Image, and will change once you change the system language.

Symptoms

The incremental С2С backup of SharePoint site finishes with one of these warnings:

Cause

Issue in the product. Such warnings appear if an item was added/renamed and then moved to a new folder.

Solution

The issue has been fixed in Acronis Cyber Cloud 8.0, please update to the latest build.
