Installing Acronis True Image and Acronis Disk Director on the same computer

Description

If you intend to use two different Acronis Personal products on the same machine, e.g. Acronis True Image and Acronis Disk Director, you should first install the product that was released earlier, and follow by installing a more recent product. These products use some common components, and thus a more recent product should be installed last, to provide the later version of the component.

  • Datacenter is updated to Acronis Cyber Cloud 8.0
  • You want to assign/change service quota for the device manually (device → details → service quota → change) 
  • After you select required quota and click on "change" nothing happens, quota is not assigned to the device

Cause

You have a device with Workstation OS protected by a backup plan with enabled application backup.

After data center is updated to Acronis Cyber Cloud 8.0, the backup plan cannot be run or applied due to error "Device has no quota to apply backup plan"

You check the type of service quota assigned to the device (Device -> Details -> Service quota -> Change) and see that no quota is assigned.

原因

エージェント for Hyper-V をインストールするとき、SAN ポリシーは [すべてオフライン] にされます。これは、エージェント for Hyper-V で作成されたバックアップから復元または変換、あるいは、復元と変換の両方をされた仮想コンピュータが起動不可能にならないように自動的に行われる変更です。

Introduction

Make sure that your problem appears during file-level backup only. This is the case if you also tried to run a Disk level backup

  • of the same source (e.g. backup of the whole C: drive)
  • to the same destination (e.g. to the same folder).
  • with the same backup settings (VSS, etc)

and in the result the disk level backup worked. In this case check for known issues.
